"Russia was expecting to take control of our country within two days," she said.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, late on Sunday, criticized the leaders of Western countries for not reacting to Moscow's threat to attack Ukraine's military-industrial facilities.
"Think about the sense of impunity for the invaders," Zelensky said in a video recording broadcast on his account on the "Telegram" platform. He added, "I did not hear a reaction from any of the world's leaders today... not a word, as if the leaders of the West had disappeared tonight."
On Sunday, Moscow announced that its forces intend to bomb Ukraine's military-industrial facilities using what it says are precision weapons.
Thousands of people work in factories located in cities where hundreds of thousands of people live, Zelensky said.
He added: "The audacity of the aggressor is a clear signal to the West that the sanctions imposed on Russia are not enough."
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky vowed to hold Moscow accountable for its attack against his country, and stressed that his people would not forgive the Russian authorities for targeting Ukraine.
